August 11, 2012. We'd just grilled a delicious dinner together on the deck of our new apartment when Robert asked Paige if she'd like to take a walk with the dogs through the park across the street. We had the entire park to ourselves on that perfect summer night. As our dogs ran happily around us, Robert stopped Paige and said some of the kindest words she'd ever heard. To her shock and surprise he got down on one knee, pulled the most beautiful ring from his pocket, and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes! Robert then surprised Paige yet again when they showed up to a local bar where a big group of their friends were there waiting to celebrate with them, too!
